Original owner, Duane Kliem of Carrington, started Dry Dock originally as more of a bait and tackle store with a few guns available. After selling the inventory to current owners Jim and Connie Carr in 1999, Dry Dock has grown to where it is today. Currently more of a gun shop- we are now the store who brags to be The "Real" Department of Homeland Security. We hope to be around to support your right to keep and bear arms for many years to come.

Approaching from the south, you will see our large truck billboard in the prarie grasslands about the same time as you notice Carrington's patriotic water tower in the distance. Dry Dock Sports is conveniently located next to the Pizza Ranch on the west side of Highway 281.
